What’s new in iTunesWith iTunes 4.9, you can now browse and subscribe to podcasts from within the iTunes Music Store. Podcasts are frequently updated radio-style shows downloadable over the Internet. You can also transfer podcasts to iPod, for listening on the go.

Eerste indruk: Yessss!

Als alle NL-podcastst er ook in te vinden zijn heb ik, naast de online Podfeed podcast player op podfeed.nl, geen andere podcatcher meer nodig.

N.B. Mooie features:

1 – iTunes onthoudt van iedere podcast de plek waar je gebleven bent. Gewoon stoppen en morgen verder luisteren.

2 – Exporteer je podcast-lijst als XML-bestand.

Ook een hele interessante en handige nieuwe feature (Steve Jobs had dat al even laten zien op de Apple developers conferentie WWDC 2005):

If you have a Click Wheel iPod, your podcasts appear in their own menu, right alongside your music and audiobooks. And don’t worry about losing your place: If the podcast you download comes with bookmarks, you can zip around within it on any click wheel iPod, just as you would with an audiobook.
